Sauteed Shrimp in pesto sauce

I think I saw a slug melt today. It’s supposed to be hotter tomorrow.

Sauteed shrimp with pesto sauce
1 C fresh basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
6 T olive oil
2 T walnuts or pine nuts
1 pound small peeled, deveined shrimp
1 pound pasta (spaghetti or linguini)

  1. Run the basil, garlic, 4T of the olive oil and nuts through a food processor.
  2. Start the pasta.
  3. Add 2T of oil to a skillet. Sautee shrimp on medium heat until pink. This should take about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the shrimp and pesto. Serve immediately.

  1. Melting slugs in the same posting as pesto. Not the most appetizing entry you’ve made, but I’ll bite!
